Today was the 10 th day of our practise lesson. we go to the Bakhoiddin Nakshband mausoleum. this place was very beatiful and hostorical. and guides speak for us about this place. Hazrat Muhammad Bahauddin Shah Naqshband is a 14 th century central Asian Sufi saint after whom the Naqshbandi is sometimes understood in connnection with the craft of embroidering and Hazrat Naqshband Bahouddin is said to have in fact asssisted his father in weaving cloaks in Bukhara. More commonly however it is taken to refer to the fixing of the divine name of God to the heart by means ofdhikr. To the people of Bukhara whose patron saint he became he was known postthumously as Khadjayi bala - garden ( the averter of disaster) referring to protective powers bestowed on him during his training period. They told for us many historic informations about yhis place. The tomb of Bukhari is part of a completely refurbished shrine just outside of the city of Bukhari. Imam Bukhari is best known for his authoritative collection of the saying of the prophet Muhammad but also authored other works on the prophet Muhammad and the transmission of his saying including a large biographical dictionary of the transmitters mentioned in his hadith collection. Khodzhayev was born into an uzbek famili y of wealthy traders in the city of Bukhara, Emirate of Bukhara in 1896. He was sent to Moscow by his father in 1907. There he realized the tremendous gap between contemporary European society and technology and the ancient tradition bound ways of his homeland. His father died in 1912. He joined the Pan-Turkist Jadid movement of like-minded reformers in 1916 and with his father's fortune wstablished the Young Bukharan Party.In march 1918 after the Bolsheviks had sucessfully established Soviet rule in Kokand, Khodzayev led an attempt to form a young Bukharan government with the Emir of Bukhara as a figurehead. For a few days it appeared that they had succeeded and had the Emir as a virtual prisoner but in his account written later Khodzayev admitted that he and his fellow revolutioners had been "gullible"and had underestimated the influence of the clergy and the strength of forces loyal to the old regime.In the resulting reaction t...
